Hynds Co. was created by Krissy Hynds, a spouse, mother of two, and lover of all things creative. Raised in a small Indiana town, Krissy’s sweetest childhood memories revolve around playing “house” where she would spend hours chalk drawing these intricate rooms in the driveway or rearranging her parent's furniture over and over again to create the perfect space. “Looking back I feel like I was always meant to design,” the business owner says.

With encouragement from friends and family, Hynds Co. was created in 2021 as a passion project. Starting as late-night staging gigs and helping loved ones reimagine their spaces; Today, we've evolved into a successful and elevated design firm, transforming entire homes and creating beautiful, functional spaces for our clients.

“At first my love for interior design wasn’t something I thought I would share, I’d be okay just decorating my own space, but the moment I got feedback from the first client I was hooked. I wanted to make everyone feel that good in their space. A room is not just a room, it’s the place where you do life. Intentional interior design can change culture, can change perspective, it can change everything,” Krissy says.

“My favorite style is a mixture of many”, Krissy shares, “It’s what adds character to a space and gives the room personality! Intentional design shouldn’t be the same from house to house.”
